Trapolin-Peer Architects, in a Joint Venture with VMDO Architects, engaged with Trinity Episcopal Church and School to develop a 10+ year Master Plan for their campus nestled tightly into the Garden District neighborhood. The campus is composed of multiple connected, historic buildings and includes the original church and school which has been operating at its current location since 1960.

Working within the existing fabric, on a site with little room to expand, Trapolin-Peer + VMDO provided Trinity with a phased Master Plan that will act as road map to identify and implement campus improvement projects over the next decade. Trapolin-Peer + VMDO worked directly with Trinity leadership, faculty, staff, and students to identify campus priorities and uncover opportunities for improvement that can be addressed in innovative, cost efficient ways without disrupting current school and church operations.

.

Challenges addressed by the Master Plan included maintaining the historic character of the campus while introducing new 21st Century learning environments, and securing a safe school facility that also enhances connectivity to the church and surrounding neighborhood
